How do I create an account?

Download the PorchList app from the App Store, or visit app.porchlist.io. You can sign up with your email or continue with Google or Apple.

What is PorchList?

PorchList is a neighborhood network for trusted contractor and service recommendations. Find vetted professionals recommended by your actual neighbors, realtors, and community members.

Is PorchList free to use?

Yes — PorchList is free for homeowners. Realtors and contractors can access additional features with a Pro subscription.

How do I reset my password?

On the login screen, tap "Forgot password?" and enter your email address. We'll send you a link to reset your password.

How do I update my profile?

Go to your Profile tab and tap "Edit Profile" to update your name, photo, bio, and other details.

How do I delete my account?

Go to Settings → Account → Delete Account. Your personal data will be permanently removed within 30 days. Note that this action cannot be undone.

How do I manage my notifications?

Go to Settings → Notifications to control which alerts you receive via push notification and email.

How do I recommend a contractor?

Tap the + button in the app and select "Add a Recommendation." Search for the contractor or add them manually, write your review, and share it with your community.

How do I create a list?

Go to your Profile and tap "New List." Give it a name, add contractors or places, and choose whether to make it public or private.

How do I share a list?

Open a list and tap the share icon in the top right. You can copy a link or share it directly via messages.

Can I save someone else's recommendations?

Yes — tap the bookmark icon on any contractor profile or list to save it. Your saved items appear in your Profile under "Saved."

How do I join a community?

You can join via an invite link from a neighbor, or search for your neighborhood from the Groups tab.

How do I invite neighbors?

From your Group page, tap "Invite" to share a link. Anyone with the link can request to join.

How do I claim my contractor profile?

Search for your business on PorchList. If it exists, tap "Claim this profile." If not, create a new profile from the + menu. You'll be asked to verify your identity.

How do realtors use PorchList?

Realtors can build curated vendor lists to share with clients, collect subscriber emails, and set up automated follow-up messages. Visit porchlist.io/realtors to learn more.
